Switch Body Features
1. Solid-Insulated Pole Unit :
The vacuum interrupter, featuring ultra-low contact resistance, is precision-cast in epoxy resin using proprietary techniques to form a solid-insulated primary current path.
- The Principle of Solid-Insulated Pole Breaking
1 | When the operating mechanism drives pull rod 1 counterclockwise, link rod 1 transmits motion to insulating pull rod 2. Due to its rigid connection with the vacuum interrupter, the leftward displacement of pull rod 2 causes immediate separation of the internal contacts, resulting in reliable circuit interruption. |
2 | Similarly, when the pull rod 1 moves clockwise under the drive of the operating mechanism transmission group, the connecting rod 1 makes the insulated pull rod 2 and the contact block inside the vacuum arc extinguishing chamber 3 move synchronously to contact each other, so as to realize the line connection. |
3 | Pole 1 is designed as a mechanical hard linkage structure to ensure that the two power supplies will not be connected at the same time, and the safety is better than that of the dual power supply composed of two independent high-voltage switches. |
Schematic Diagram as below:
2. Operating Mechanism
Modular design with high standardization level, enabling easier disassembly, installation and maintenance.
(Key features: Interchangeable modules per IEC 62271-3, typical maintenance time <30mins)
3. Mechanical Interlock
Advanced mechanical interlocking system effectively prevents simultaneous closure of dual power sources caused by switching misoperations.
(Compliance: Meets IEEE C37.20.7 interlock requirements, mechanical withstand force ≥500N)
4. Operation & Status Indication
Switch operation counter display: Logs total switching cycles (Memory: 10,000+ operations)
Energy storage status indicator:
• Spring charged (Green LED)
• Discharged (Red LED)
(Standard: IEC 62271-102 visible break indication)
5. Manual Buttons
Primary source manual control: OPEN/CLOSE for main power circuit
Secondary source manual control: OPEN/CLOSE for backup power circuit
(Safety: IP54 rated pushbuttons with 3mm protective shrouds)
6. Chassis System
Dual-mode chassis operation:
Manual version: Hand-crank operation (Torque ≤50Nm)
Motorized version:
• No-labor withdrawal for maintenance
• Remote-controlled extraction (24V DC motor, stroke accuracy ±1mm)
(Test standard: 10,000+ operation cycles per IEC 62271-200)
