Designed for reliable performance in low-voltage power distribution systems, this MCCB boasts a rated insulation voltage of 1000V and is suitable for AC 50/60Hz distribution networks with a rated voltage of 690V or lower, covering a rated current range of 10A to 1250A.
Beyond its core function of distributing electrical power, the ASKM2 MCCB provides comprehensive protection against critical electrical faults, including overload, short circuits, and undervoltage. It also supports infrequent line switching and motor starting operations, making it a versatile solution for diverse power systems. Compliant with GB14048.2 and IEC60947.2 standards, this breaker combines compact design with high performance, ensuring safety and efficiency in various industrial and commercial settings.
The ASKM2 MCCB features a small volume that saves installation space, making it ideal for systems with limited room. Despite its compact size, it delivers exceptional breaking capacity: depending on the model, the ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity (Icu) reaches up to 75kA at AC 400V/415V, while the service short-circuit breaking capacity (Ics) can reach 75kA, ensuring safe interruption of high fault currents.
With an arc distance of ≤50mm (for 125A-250A models) and ≤100mm (for 630A-1250A models), the breaker minimizes arc propagation, enhancing operational safety. It is also vibration resistant, making it suitable for harsh environments where stability under mechanical stress is critical.
Engineered with a reasonable internal structure, the ASKM2 MCCB ensures consistent performance even in long-term use. Breaking capacity refers to the maximum short-circuit current an MCCB can safely interrupt, measured in kA. For the ASKM2, this ranges from 15kA to 75kA (depending on the model). Selecting a breaker with a breaking capacity equal to or greater than the potential fault current in the system is critical to prevent damage during short-circuit events.
